Courtney Robb

When you are watching Adelaide songstress, Courtney Robb, the first thing that hits you is a rare honesty and sense of self that pulls you along with her on an emotional roller coaster. Her husky, but undoubtedly Australian vocals are woven with purposefully delicate guitar in a style teetering on the edges of folk, country and blues. Robb is not afraid to bare her soul, to share stories of love, belonging, heartache and failure.

In 2010, Robb was chosen by Triple J Unearthed to attend the Sydney Song Summit and be a part of exclusive songwriting sessions with some of Australia's finest including Kevin Mitchell (AKA Bob Evans), Julian Hamilton from the Presets and Megan Washington. She has also had the pleasure of performing at Gorgeous Festival, Fleurieu Folk Festival, Wirrina Bluegrass Festival and Red Desert Live performing alongside some of Australia’s best.

2014 has seen Robb go from strength to strength, with support performances for guitar picking legend Stefan Grossman (US) and Eleanor McEvoy (Ire) and Darren Middleton (Powderfinger) as well as the release of her third alum “In the Dark” produced by Tristen Bird and mastered by Aria award winner Govinda Doyle.

A fresh new talent, Poppi embodies a unique and captivating presence, with earthy acoustic tones and an originality of her own. Emerging from a by-gone era, she creates mesmerising performances with eloquent melodies and mellow, sweet-sounding harmonies.

Down From The Mountain

Down from the Mountain

Hailing from the Adelaide Hills, 'Down From The Mountain' is a new and exciting five piece a Capella choir delving into the current roots revival movement.

Formed less than two years ago, 'Down From The Mountain's main emphasis is to bring original work and distinctive arrangements to a genre not normally associated with a Capella music.
Alt Country inspiration with Gospel and folk melodies. They have successfully forged their own innovative sound, having created their own material. Keep an ear out for their title tracks 'Hillside Home', 'I Don't Believe' and 'Freight Train'. They have also explored artist's such as Feist, Bon Iver, Alison Krauss, Paul Kelly and Robyn.

Down From The Mountain have been performing around various venues throughout Adelaide and it's regions. They have a deep, rich sound sitting right in the heart of folk and country and light years away from Doo-Wop!

‘Down From The Mountain’ are...

Soprano Tamsar Bellette and Nikki Doube
Jennie Howe and Wren Heggart
Tim Bodman

Chester Winchester

Chester Winchester's music harks back to the acoustic folk movement of the 60s and dips into the blues for pizzazz. Add to this one singer/songwriter twist and you've got an edgy Bob Dylan vibe with a Vance Joy vogue. Who doesn't love The Smiths, Rodriguez? Chester Winchester pairs beautiful lyricisms with listenability.
