The Coconut Kids started out as a couple of friends making music, but the nights writing songs with a ukulele and some good wine turned into something more than just a fun way to spend time together: The project grew into a full-fledged band with incredibly eclectic roots ranging from their homeland, Australia to Ireland and Belgium.

The Coconut Kids strike for their earnest, playful and direct blend of indie folk; as they charm audiences with their direct melodies and witty lyricism. The group is now about to release their upcoming EP, “This Time Next Year”, currently available via bandcamp as a preorder. THE BAND Julian Ferguson - Vocals, Uke, Violin, Guitar, Mandolin Chaotic, yet charismatic. Miranda Corbett - Trumpet, Keys, Vocals Sassy, classy & brassy. Eamonn Burke - Bass, Guitar, Vocals The affable irishman. Ashlee Randell - Vocals, Trombone, Uke, Percussion The girl with the golden voice. They released their first debut EP in June 2016.

Sunitra Martinelli has worked internationally as a Fashion Designer, Stylist, Actress & Model. Since falling in love with the Ukelele, she’s turned her creative energy to songwriting & performing. Sunitra captures her audience with her personal storytelling style, recounting events in her life in Australia, Asia & Europe. Her music is emotive and personal, delivered with an engaging air of sophistication. Joining her in this show will be Ian Stehlik-Ukelele & Guitar, Pascal Nigon- Double Bass, John De Nichilo-Keyboard and Trumpet and Fabian Hevia- Percussion.

Isaac Wallace has come from Ghana for the Fringe Festival and has performed his authentic music both within Adelaide and country regions, as well as interstate. He is well known in Ghana, his songs are played on radio and ringtones, his videos televised and his story featured in newspapers. Isaac’s music is an invigorating fusion of hi-life, salsa and jazz, created out of a strong spirituality that entwines music and art to produce authentic, most distinctive compositions.
