Béba
Adults $10 - Children $5

Growing up with the backdrop of the vast Australian desert of Coober Pedy Béba [aka (Michaela Burger) knew, from an early age, that music was her life.
At 4 foot 11 inches audiences are never quite prepared for the powerful voice that comes from Béba's tiny frame. Her range is impressive and the quality, expression and emotion in her voice and songs are an experience not to be missed.
Writing music since the age of 12, she's a powerful package, showcasing a phenomenal range, taking audiences on rollercoaster of sounds. Hard to confine to one genre, Burger has displayed a versatility that is rarely found in today’s breed.
While performing Béba plays: cello, piano, ukulele or guitar.
“Her songwriting and composition are a testament to artistry, and her versatility of style begs me to seek a more complex grouping for her music (than pop).” In Daily
“The temperature really shot up when Béba stepped on stage...a musical powerhouse...seriously good singing…mesmerizing... raw emotion made musical” The Advertiser
"With so much power and a phenomenal range, she was able to move from tender, passionate ballads to hard driving, rock beats with ease...her songs and music are hard to categorize but who needs a category when you’re that good!" Rip it Up
“She has one of the finest voices this state has produced!” Sunday Mail

FUTURE SESSIONS FOR 2013

June 16th - 2013
Tin Can Alley
Adults $10 - Children $5

Tin Can Alley is the duo, Jacqy Phillips and Cliff Stoddart. The music is eclectic, from France, from Germany, from India.. and also originals like 'The Journey' which won the 'Drunk but not Intoxicated, 8am Locomotive Hotel talent quest' in Tamworth in the first month of the new millenium and 'I Like You' which Jacqy performed with her ukelele at Birdland in New York 2009
Cliff is a guitarist with a huge history in music, including supporting Leo Sayer all over England, with a violinist in the style of Django Rheinhardt and Stephen Grappelli and with his band The Swingmasters in Sydney and up and down the East Coast of Australia.
Jacqy is a stage actor with the odd foray into film, most recently as the horrible Mrs. Cribbage in Red Dog.
This promises to be a slightly cheeky and highly entertaining Session!

Causing Hammock
Adults $10 - Children $5

Born in early 2012, Causing Hammock are an organic-rock band that believe 'real' music is the pathway to a better world.
Soon after forming, the band set out on a self-funded tour from Adelaide to Darwin and back, code named "Julune" (June/July). Six weeks, 7000ks and a staggering 21 shows later, Causing Hammock had uncovered the sound, feeling and spirit of what it truly means to be alive; to bring music to life, and share it with the world.
Now back home in Adelaide, the band continue to play shows all over the city and are currently recording their first album, scheduled for release in May.
Causing Hammock believe that greed for money has all but destroyed music's soul. Their ultimate goal is to transcend this corruption, to create and deliver real music to real people, and set an example that the entire music industry can follow...

Causing Hammock is:
Nathanael Rothwell - Vocals / Guitar, 23
Keith McGloin - Lead Guitar, 26
Sam Walker - Drums, 23
David Drummond - Bass, 24”
