Mary Webb
Tickets $15

Mary Webb

With a background in classical and choral music, Mary's ear for melody and harmony are no accident. Having evolved into a singer-songwriter in the acoustic/folk scene, she still carries the training with her into songwriting and performing, arranging and directing.

After recording a five-track demo in 2009 with accomplished artist Pete Murray, Mary has been building a solid reputation on the live music scene and recently released her first full-length album 'Forest Floor', which has already nearly sold out.

Mary has played alongside some great names in the local and national music scene including Jez Mead, Carus Thompson, Kelly Menhennett, Mal Webb, Loren Kate, The Hushes and Cal Williams Jr.

"…her descriptive lyrics began to enthral the audience…without using any pretentious metaphors, you really felt like Mary shared with us a little piece of her soul." -(Fringe Benefits 2012)

FALLING TO EARTH

Falling to Earth 2

Falling To Earth 1

Falling to Earth is made up of three male Homo sapiens who enjoy harmonising over earthy layers of thick stringed acoustic guitars and jiving along to rattling maracas and tub thumping congas. Basically we are a new thing that is forging an earthy sound along the lines of all the great three part harmony groups that have preceded us.

FEE BROWN

Fee Brown

Through baring her soul in song, Fee Brown invites you to spend a moment with your own. Her music will take you inward on a journey through many shades of emotion, dark and light with lyrics, sometimes simple, sometimes complex and multi-dimensional but always heart felt. She performs with a vulnerability that is simultaneously unsettling and enticing, drawing you in to ride alongside like a great soundtrack does for a movie.

Sinn Beo is a folk band based in the Adelaide Hills. They play traditional Irish and Scottish tunes as well as modern folk and Australian music.

The present members consist of:

Gemma - Guitar, whistles and drum

Serendipity is a perfect example of the new breed of emerging young performers who have “grasped the nettle”. Apart from being the outstanding young act at the Fleurieu Folk Festival 2013, Emily and Kacey are also starting to impress audiences at a variety of Folk Club and open mic events, as well as the recent Frances Folk Gathering. They demonstrate a knack of being able to instantly endear themselves to an audience with their youthful exuberance, passionate playing and a sometimes fresh and quirky approach to the music.

SerendipityEmily Schoof and Kacey Stephensen - is one of the brightest young emerging acts on the South Australian Folk Horizon,  writing songs that tug at every emotion, underlined by delightful guitar/mandolin arrangements and goosebump raising harmonies.
