CAT DOG BIRD...
Cat Dog Bird are a band of music makers from the south of Australia, playing their original folk/rock music and stirring souls with bittersweet lyrics, melodic harmonies and rhythms that will take you on a long sweet ride into their musical landscapes. Jen Lush, Andy Voigt, Cliff Milne and Dave Branton blend guitars and mandolin, ukelele and melodica, drums and cajon, underpinning the rich, emotive vocals and stories embedded in their songs. Cat Dog Bird have performed over the past five years at a wide range of Adelaide music venues and festivals (Fleurieu Folk Festival and Semaphore Music Festival). Their debut album Headfirst Into The Riddle has been well supported by South Australian radio and has been in Three D Radioís top 20 new releases at #1 for two weeks, was album of the week and charted as #18 in Three Dís top 101 albums for 2014. The band continue to enjoy writing new music and developing their sound with a nod to Influences like Iron and Wine, Neil Finn, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Cardigans, Fleet Foxes, and Calexico.
"2016 is set to be a great year with much in store, so we hope to keep contributing to Adelaide's lovely landscape of music with new heartfelt tunes, words spun from sliver tongues and live shows that burst your heart right open." Jen Lush, Cat Dog Bird
